Every year the third Thursday of May is the Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This year it falls on the 19th of May.
If you have earned a badge on Moodle platform you can view them by going to your profile. Dashboard > Preferences > Badges > Manage badges allow you to download the badges or view them.
Open badges can be offered automatically when certain criteria is fulfilled. If a badge is offered for a reflective piece would offering the badge automatically devalue the badge?
No technology will be able to make badly designed/created content accessible. In simple terms, for the assistive technologies to work, we need to create content that is accessible.
What do I do with my badge? For those who are familiar with open badges, this is not an issue but there are many who are new to open badges and this post is to help them identify how they can improve their online profiles with these badges.
